Do 3-way LED lightbulbs exist in CH?

Looking for 3-way LED lightbulbs for several lamps. I've checked Ikea and Jumbo and haven't seen them. Is it possible they were just out of stock or is this something I may need to source from a special shop?? Can you tell me what would they be called in French? Any suggestions for brands and stores where I might find them? I need 5 of them.
As always thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Do 3-way LED lightbulbs exist in CH?

Sbrinz,
Just a quick note of thanks for posting the links for pearl. The link for the site in fr looks like they have a good assortment of bulbs but I am still not sure any of them will work for the three lamps that I have.
Do you know if they have a special name in french?
The lamps in question have a small knob that you turn to get them to come on. Turn the switch once and the bulb comes on to a certain brightness. Turn the switch again and the light gets brighter. Turn the switch a final time and the bulb is as bright as it gets.

With the days getting darker I'm starting to think that I may just need to plunk a regular bulb in the light, call it a day, and forget about being able to control how bright or dim the light appears.

I may be being a bit simple here

but get the bulb number of the non led version, then google the bulb number followed by LED??

This is not a function of the bulb, but the controller/switch itself, which just reduces the voltage being supplied, like a dimmer switch. Just find a bulb of the same fitting and wattage and it should work just fine.

It's in what we call a lampe hallogène in French? The word might help you find the right bulb!

Not quite. A classic 3-way bulb has two filaments of different wattage to allow for three levels of brightness. There's a pretty good description on wikipedia.

BTW I've seen plenty of those in the US but I've never come across one in Switzerland.

Re: Do 3-way LED lightbulbs exist in CH?

Exactly. I don't recall ever having seen a 3-way lamp or bulb here.

Just a mutt, are you actually looking for a 3-way bulb, or just a dimmable one??

Re: Do 3-way LED lightbulbs exist in CH?

Thought I would provide a quick update to my question and the provided replies. Mark75's description of the bulb I was seeking was spot on. Much like his last comment I don't believe they are to be found in CH.
I looked in Jumbo ( they have an entire side of a long isle that is NOTHING but light bulbs!), Migro, Coop, and Carrefour as they are the closest to where I am located and found nothing like what I was looking for.
I ended up just getting regular LED bulbs with the highest wattage the lamp suggests and will use that for the time being.
Should anybody come across bulbs like I mentioned I'd love to know where you find them but, since I've got a bulb that is in place and works it will remain there until it dies/no longer works. I don't like to waste stuff.
( I got to wondering if perhaps the bulbs are NOT popular since so many light switches and lamp knobs here have the "dimmer" option-- which I quite like!)

Re: Do 3-way LED lightbulbs exist in CH?

Have you looked at the Hornbach in Etoy? If it exists, they will probably have it. Be sure to ask if you do not see it. They might have them back in the lighting section and not with the regular bulbs.

I seem to remember seeing something similar there but since I was not looking for one it did not fully register if it was LED or something else.

Re: Do 3-way LED lightbulbs exist in CH?

IIRC, regular LED bulbs will not work with a dimmer switch. I believe you need to find special ones that are made specifically for use with a dimmer switch. I am in the process of changing out my halogen and filament bulbs with LEDs and pretty sure I read this somewhere about dimmers.

Will post a link if I find anything specific.
