You live in Wynental... Move to Zurich! They love Spaniards here. Check out the housing thread, I might be able to offer you a room there...

Re: Swiss Man worth pursuing? :/

Okay, and since the OP is a woman from Russia... Check out *Die Bellers". Reality soap on Swiss TV, and it's about a chick from Russia that married a rich Swiss guy.

Quotes: I love her and she loves herself... Why marry a poor guy if there are so many rich guys available?

I'm Swiss (sorta) with a Spaniard. Not by choice, don't have much of a say in the matter

Re: Swiss Man worth pursuing? :/

I'd go for the two week holiday. Just to check him out. And visit a beautiful country.

Pleed poverty etc, make him pay. Play him.

But always have a way to leave, plane ticket, money etc.

You never know until you do it. It may work out...

Re: Swiss Man worth pursuing? :/

Well I talked to him today and he told me that his feelings for me will not change.

Surprisingly, I've been expecting this and I've been getting tougher about the situation these past few days. A lot of your guy's realistic opinions have opened my eyes. Love had me a little blind, I must admit!

So I'm thinking I'm not going to Switzerland to visit him. If I stop loving him, I'll definitely go and have a fling with him just for fun. But my feelings for him now are too deep and I'll definitely get hurt.

Thank you everyone for somehow contributing to the decision that I've made.

Long story short...

What should I do? I love him but he confuses me.
This discussion is devoid of utility without sufficient photographic illustration.

Now to seal the deal, I mean this very resourceful decision you still need to go out with friends and get sloshed to get it all out of your system. Once and for good. Vodka works miracles in such situations. Don't accept anything less because you deserve a treat.

As for the poor Swiss guy who wanted to take you for a ride ... Well, let his girlfriend decide and do the job - castration or hungry bull terrier therapy optional

Why do you say that....I think he works for the Swiss national tourist office and just wanted to show OP the famous Swiss hospitality. With no strings attached.

I ended up going to CH last month, and I loved it. I met his family and I truly enjoyed my stay.
I am pregnant now, and have no idea what will happen.
Please keep me in your prayers.

Re: Swiss Man worth pursuing? :/

There is not much to say if your situation has been truthfully described in this thread.

I am sad for you that despite going into this with eyes wide open and many (albeit strangers) telling you to heed the warning signs, you find yourself in this situation.

I certainly hope that this outcome was not pre-planned in hopes of creating a non-severable bond between you and the Swiss man.

Hopefully you are seeking the advice of loved ones and friends who can support you and give you advice face-to-face.

You have nowhere to go but forward now, and the health and welfare of your baby should be your focus.
