By the way, which of you men on the Forum have recently had a russian visit from an american girl?
My wife ALMOST qualifies, as her great-grandfather came here in the late 1860s as a political refugee from what was then Russia (but is now Poland), and I was still American when we met.

All I can say is this,
I wish oral contraceptives didn't fail. I wish I would not have gotten pregnant.
Taken properly, oral contraceptives are close to 100% reliable. Or did you order them online?

You've hit the jackpot.

Sorry, but I don't buy it. You came here to get pregnant so you can keep him ''tied'' to you!

If you didn't want to get pregnant and you say it is a difficult situation, then you should have asked him to wear a condom , even if you are on BCP, because I repeat myself- you didn't want to get pregnant! ...And you don't know his diseases...

You knew from the beginning that the whole thing is confusing and you didn't know what to do in the first place...But then you came here and got pregnant. Even though people told you to forget about him.
I understand- you came just here to see how is everything going to work out but ...you got pregnant because you wanted to.

What are you going to do with the baby? Stay in Russia or go to the USA and keep the baby there, away from the father? Are you going to raise this child alone? Stay here with the father? Make him marry you because you are having his baby? If he doesn't want to marry you or have the baby, are you going to have an abortion?

I do believe in taking a chance and a risk with love and see where everything is going, but having a baby in your situation sounds disgusting because of the hidden reasons...

I am a US citizen, my whole existence is in the US. This job in Russia is temporary. I do not live in CH. Can you imagine how stressed and torn I am about this situation?
Thank you to those who wish me good luck with my health and the baby. I don't require further advice regarding this Swiss Man because it is not my goal, not has it ever been, to tie him to me through this baby.

I thought I'd let the few of you who wrote me sincere advice know the outcome of the situation. And thank you to those who sent me individual messages as well.
OK, calm down now. Think positive: you're carrying his superior Swiss genes and your child will turn out to be gorgeous, smart, sporty, a polyglot, tidy, funny, tidy and carrying. The Swiss man might eventually marry you and make you a few more. How wide are your hips?

Dumm fickt gut.

Having unprotected sex with a known promiscuous partner. Utterly stupid.

Q.E.D.

An unwanted brat. Bad. Unwanted bug. Worse.

Get tested. No not for pregnancy. STD.

How dare you asking her this question ...that you obviously know the answer to? And the answer is of course, yes.

People tell her to stay away from him.
Some people actually encouraged her to take the chance and come over, live life to the fullest and all that mambo jambo.

Yes , of course, why not? We all take risks and dream of pigs flying. We don't know until we try it. Of course , some things have some limits for some. For some not...anyway... BUT to have a baby in her situation is disturbing.
Troll it is, I guess.

Something makes me feel like a lab rat just now..
Maybe this discussion is an experiment.

If it's not and the young lady's situation is true, then.... it's not a dramatic event.
It's a baby

Half the world's population was most probably a surprise as well.

Yeah..this is why there are so many kids in orphanages...So it is OK to have ''mistake babies'' then? Of course, there are ''mistake babies'' that grew up in happy families and they are all happy! But this situation is wrong because of her actions. I worked in an orphanage in my country. Scarred for life is all I can say as melodramatic as it may sound.

Agreed, and first time ever I disagree with one of wonderful Sky's post- sad.

Our first was a wonderful 'mistake'- the best and most wonderful I've ever made- in a strong and loving partnership- and there were never any regrets but lots of shared joys.

I think the only people really entitled to outrage and hysterics are the future parents or whoever is going to foot the bill if parent/s flake out.

The level of exhibitionism and oversharing does surprise, that's for sure...but I will blame it on a lacking sense of privacy and dignity, boredom and FB.

What bill- the financial one is the least of our concerns here. No outrage or hysterics about the choices adults make...

Couples and families do split up, for all sorts of reasons- and this is tragic enough- and often just can't be helped- but this is no way to start- knowing full well even before it starts, there is no way forwards.
