All I can say is this,
I wish oral contraceptives didn't fail..
Yeah girl, they don't fail unless you make a mistake Also, use a condom, with a guy you don't know anyway

Other than that I'm sure you know how this is gonna end, right? He will not care any more than before, just in case that was what you were hoping for (I'm sure it was, even though you don't admit it).

I feel sorry for the kid.

I'm not sure whether to laugh at the absurdness of this thread that is screaming Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! or cry at the reality that the victim is the child who will most likely be born into such drama!

If you didn't want to get pregnant and you say it is a difficult situation, then you should have asked him to wear a condom , even if you are on BCP, because I repeat myself- you didn't want to get pregnant! ...And you don't know his diseases...
I have never understood how a woman has an 'accidental pregnancy', whilst I am sure there are those geniune cases - there are so many woman who want to have a baby with the right person, at the right time, under the right circumstances etc and have achieved this by taking the necessary precautions! Given the circumstances, no wonder assumptions are made surrounding this pregnancy....

Maybe...but I'm sure any proposal will be preceded by a request for a DNA test.

Yes there certainly are

Just like some people cannot get pregnant for trying, others have trouble stopping it from happening. Same as some people struggle to lose weight and others can't put any on. It can be hard to fight nature!

Most visitors are happy to leave Switzerland with an army knife or a few blocks of chocolate...I guess the OP got one souvenir most people don't get.

I was thinking about that. Could OP perhaps have the idea that the child is a so-called "anchor-baby" like in the U.S.? Assuming the father agrees he's the parent and registers the birth, the child would be automatically entitled to live here. What about OP as his mother?

Re: Swiss Man worth pursuing? :/

Wow, society is tough !!
I honestly thought that these kind of thoughts had finally died out some time in the twentieth century.

Of course there is no mention of the man's responsibility, because everybody knows that young women make babies on their own.

This is a social science experiment?

Nonsense, we are in Switzerland, not in Romania!

This is what happens when ya get an abortion in dirt poor countries. PD is from Romania, a country where the GDP is jack squat and with some of the worst hospitals in Europe. Even hospitals in Gaza or Quebec are better!.

Romanian healthcare on verge of collapse

http://www.euractiv.com/sections/hea...stem-eu-311582

The Netherlands has retained its position at the top of the annual Euro Health Consumer Index (EHCI), which compares healthcare systems in Europe for the fifth year in a row.
Each year, the Swedish NGO Health Consumer Powerhouse (HCP) ranks healthcare systems in Europe on 48 indicators, including patients' rights and information, accessibility, prevention and outcomes. Once again, the Netherlands secured a top position among 36 European countries for the fifth year in a row, scoring 898 of a maximum 1,000 points.
In the EU, the Netherlands was followed by Finland, Denmark, and Belgium as the countries with the best healthcare, while Romania, Lithuania and Poland scored the lowest. In an overall comparison in Europe, Switzerland came second with Norway on a third place.

http://www.imtj.com/news/?entryid82=456259

'Health at a Glance: Europe 2014' shows that life expectancy in EU member states has increased by more than five years on average since 1990. But the gap between those countries with the highest life expectancies (Spain, Italy and France) and those with the lowest (Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria and Romania) remains eight years.
