Put it straight in bin or post it back if she has a return address on it and marked 'unknown'

I will do so.

What is beyond words to me is how someone can take so much advantage of another and threathens to jeorpardize someone's life with false accusations.
I am so honest that sometimes I think I am the most stupid person on earth.

I regret so much I accepted her offer. I should have gone to a hotel.

At the risk of punctuating this otherwise entertaining thread with some boring details, I do not advise the course of action suggested above. If the woman is systematic, she will follow through with a court procedure and the OP should prepare to defend himself. See this thread, for example . . .
Betreibung [Debt Notice]

Of course, this could also work for the OP, in that he responds with a bill for performing 'laundry services' and follows up with a 'Betreibung'.

Shawne Fielding?

The bad woman that did this to me?

NO! Absolutely not.

From what I have heard here and there, this lady is a good lady.

Or is she not? No idea.

She would have to have a contract with you before a Betreibung can be started. A verbal contract is binding, but did anybody hear you agree to pay her?
I think the answer is a big NO.

Just ignore her, and keep the letters in case you need to prove she is threatening you. Do not write, visit, or call her.

No, there was no contract. Nothing at all.

She might ask her ex to say something to lie in her favour to back up her lies, as he was once in the house to give the kid a Xmas Present. you never know. He is also strange. At this point, I have no idea of what are her intentions.

But I have done nothing, so whatever she says, she will need to proof.

Re: Colleague trying to get money

In that case write a registered formal letter to this woman stating the facts i.e.:

- You stayed at her apartment as a guest, and at no time did you agree to any financial reimbursement for your stay- either written or verbally

- No payment will be forthcoming from you

- You refute her accusations of theft of her possessions

- You will not enter into any further correspondence on this matter

If possible get someone with good written German to help you write the letter - otherwise just write it in English.

Rgds,
Nick

This is exactly what I have done.
I have asked her to wash my clothes, meaning that I bought the detergent and would actually do the job myself.
I was washing HER clothes, ironing them, folding them and putting them in the closet.
And she had a plie, huge pile of clothes. 4 loundry cicles.
When it came my time and I asked, because I am unable to do anything in someone's house without asking, she said NO.

I was also cleaning the pee and poo of her bad behavior dog, that does it in the entire house.

Every single night she would disconnect the lights of the room I was and also the Internet Connnection. And I never complained ...

She is not in a deeper need as I was.

She lives in a 3 floors house close to the Lake.

And even though she is not working anymore for 2 years she has a allimony of CHF 7000 from her ex husband.

I just think this is the usual thing for her as I overheard she was trying to get some money out of him telling her Rolex has disapeared and accusing him.

I would see no problem in paying, if this was previously agreed.

But on the day I am leaving, this is simply not correct.
And with all other BS accusations ....
Simply too much.

I did not ask her to wash my clothes.
Why on earth woukd I do that?

When I asked her to wash my clothes, I was asking her to use the machine and to do it myself, of course.

I explained more in another post.

I lost the will to live reading this thread on about page 1. Just to summarise:
- OP's flat got burgled. CORRECT. Broken into, all valuables completely gone.
- OP stayed at the house of a woman with whom he/she is distantly acquainted while the locks were being changed. CORRECT. Now I am at a BB style cheap hotel as the door needs to be completely replaced. Not a simple broken into, they distroyed the door.

- There was no agreement - written or verbal in the prescence of a witness that OP would pay towards the cost of the stay. Absolutely Correct.
- OP stayed at this woman's home for 1 week and at least did some basic household chores. Not Basic chores. Cooked, cleaned, cleaned 24 hours after her super messy dog, washed and folder piles of her clothes, etc.
- OP asked this woman to do some laundry ( or asked if OP could use the washing machine to do some laundry? ) and was ready to provide own washing powder etc - sorry I was not clear on this one
I asked her to wash my clothers, asked her permission to. I was already washing her clothes and when it came my turn she said no.
- OP is now at his/her own flat
I am on a BB. The door will be replaced only at the end of January according to the Landlord. I am also looking for a place to move into. Dont want to be in this apartment anymore.

- acquaintance is now demanding dosh for the stay and some alleged missing items

Exactly. She is trying to get money out of me.
I have heard that she does to her EX, she used to do that to any single nanny she had.
They would take care of her daughter and when she would have to pay them, she would accuse them of stealing her things and would tell them to leave the house like human garbage. Every 15 days was someone coming from Portugal or Syria or any poor country and she would do that.
Somone that does not want to get involved but knows her history told me yesterday night over a call.
