When I'm in Switzerland, I'm quite confused with the Swiss kisses.
I am here for 6 years and still don't know what a Swiss kiss is.
I know about French kisses though.
Is it something similar?

Bonjour Mesdames et Messieurs

Yep that's more like it, German may be the majority language in Switzerland but it's not the sole language.

Around here we normally say 'bonjour Messieurs, dames' when entering a doctor's waiting room or small shop as a general greeting to everyone present.
