Re: Date in Zurich

Since Switzerland started preparation for joining the EU, it has started using the popular 12 month/365.25 day scheme and moving away from having 24 months plus four half months, with each gemeinde selecting their own leap day.

You should be able to use your existing calendar with only minor adjustments.

Beware though, some of the traditional nomenclature has been carried over to the new dating scheme. Halb-März, for example, is actually Valentine's day and z'Stephi is Boxing day.

Be grateful you aren't some sort of student, though. Because, well, you're better off not knowing...

Re: Date in Zurich

Five easy steps to dating in Zurich:

  1. First, open the door of your place of residence. Step out of door and proceed to nearest place of personal interest.
  2. Open second door. Enter establishment of choice of which is of great personal interest. Many choose a pub or coffee shop for example.
  3. Scan establish for an individual that has piqued your interest.
  4. Approach this person of interest and try to initiate mirthful banter. If successful, continue mirthful banter. If experiencing failure...return to scanning area and repeat steps 3 and 4.
  5. If mirthful banter was indeed successful, repeat step 4 again with the same individual and increase the number of meeting places at other establishments as described in step 1.
Repeat

Re: Date in Zurich

My understanding is that, whenever a man approaches a Swiss girl, he is usually karate chopped in the balls.

And in the unlikely event that he is NOT karate chopped in the balls, he will be most certainly be asked to declare his nationality and provide a bank statement.
