Have you seen the movie ?

The book was total drivel but according to the reviews and critics, the film is a lot better
2.05 hours of boredom. I thought the movies had a break in the middle?

I cant understand the hype of the books or the movie. People do those kind of stuff and even more hardcore every day. They just keep it private.

One more vote to the i wont read/watch the books/movie camp
The movie theater was completely full. The worst part is that the movie finishes in a way that imply a next one.

Review on my feed this morning from a 21-year-old friend:

"Well that was an utter pile of shit"

I have quite a few friends in the BDSM community and they all concur that this is NOT a BDSM movie/book!

Pixie, he is simply being cheeky and wants me to go and see it. Everyone knows it's bad.

Back home as well. Beat in on the rocks at the beach.
Alive too, just awful
I've seen this during my childhood in the south of Italy.

This seems to be the feeling across the web.

Went to see the Imitation Game instead. Fascinating!

Awww - did you know octopuses are some of the most intelligent animals in the sea? I've been lucky enough to play with several in the wild and they are incredible - just like puppies. Haven't been able to eat one in years.

Let's fight for octopuses' rights!

Meantime to hell with all those humans who're starving...

People were actually cheering when the movie was done. I never will get that 2.05 hours back.

They made a two hour film out of the first book? Jesus that must have been really boring, especially since most of the 'naughty' bits weren't included.

The whole thing didn't even merit three books, it could all quite easily have been covered in one volume so how on earth they think they can get more than one film out of it beats me.

Indeed. All I was thinking was: sign the damn contract so we can finish it! And guess what? She didn't sign it yet.

Let's see how much millions this crap is going to bring.

My friend and I ended up experimenting on cookies during the v-day
Just out of curiosity: how much do people want to spend for buying decorated or personalised cookies in Switzerland? Like, 2 CHF each?

Very nice! I baked a vat of choc chip cookies, but no pics available

Bakeries sell cookies at the jaw-dropping price of 2-4 chf each. My homebaked ones mostly taste better IMO and the ingredients can be bought for a fraction of the price of the store-bought cookies

Baking cookies really isn't that hard, but I believe one notices if the baker loves doing his work or not - maybe I'm biased though

Pretty cookies FuriousRose, but otherwise I agree with glowjupiter. I love baking and decorating and OH, in return for taking me to the kebabplace got some muffins baked which he enjoyed, so no pictures either

From my calculations, today's homebaked Zopf cost CHF 1.70 for 500g as opposed to CHF 3.40 (Migros price) - and it doesn't contain anything aside from an egg yolk, milk, butter, flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

Today, as post Valentine's day, we went skiing again and ate a beef stake afterwards, assorted with a Barolo.
How Valentine is that? But hey, neither of us is American. So.
