Lift (elevator) maintenance duties

Is there any regulation around lift maintenance in Switzerland?

Our agency just swapped the maintenance company for the elevators (probably for a cheaper one on 5x8h SLA) and - say hi to Murphy - our only unit just broke down Friday afternoon. I'm home after a knee-operation on the 5th, the car is in the garage - and the technician just informed me that they are coming "to see what's wrong" only on Monday.

I should get back to the hospital for a check-up on Monday. Going down and up 6 storeys with two crutches will certainly be a nice experience....

This never happened before, they also repaired the elevators on a Sunday afternoon. I assume in Switzerland there are rules around this as well. Could you enlighten me?

Re: Lift (elevator) maintenance duties

second question: I gotta go for a stitch removal on Monday, physiotherapy on Tuesday.

Can I order some patient transport services and send the bill to the Agency afterwards (or at least threaten them that I'll do so) or is it reasonable for someone to walk the stairs with crutches up and down?
