More Swiss Tax return talk

When we filed our 2013 tax returns for CH, we were due a 1200 CF refund. Its now been a year. (US citizen, B Permit, Canton ZH - just to cover my basis)

Has any one ever actually rec'd a refund? All the posts I read is people were due one, but never actually rec'd one.

Thx in advance.

Yep.

IIRC once it was paid directly into my bank account, other times they have deducted from the current year tax payment. More recently the second.

Re: More Swiss Tax return talk

I got the adjustment statement for 2013 last week, requesting action.

Have to send them my bank details (again) and the payment should ensue soon thereafter.

Re: More Swiss Tax return talk

We've still not received a local gemeinde bill for our 2012 taxes.
And from talking with others...this seems to be normal.

Re: More Swiss Tax return talk

Also haven't received anything at all from Zurich (city and canton) relating to 2012. Normally submit late in the following year and receive correspondence the following November or December (after they have received the current one). Only submitted 2013 a few weeks ago (oops!) which may be why I haven't heard back yet.

Re: More Swiss Tax return talk

Same here in Valais - we normally receive the confirmation statement in April/May and the refund paid a month after - ie in 2015 for the 2013 tax return.
