BigB.ZH has slipped a little
has anyone used iOops(ioops.ch) for iPhone repair?

my iPhone 5s has ended up with a smashed screen. while searching on google for repair shops, I came accross http://www.ioops.ch/ who are very reasonably priced compared to iklinik.ch or other repair shops.

CHF 120 at iOops compared to a whooping CHF 209 at iKlinik.

just wondering if any one has used their services for a repair and any recommendations?

It looks like a sideline, rather than a specialist;

But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Re: has anyone used iOops(ioops.ch) for iPhone repair?

I had an iPad repaired by the Gadget Factory in Zurich. They were cheaper than Apple and do a reasonable job, but damaged the wi-if receiver and I had to go back and have it replaced by them.

BUT I claimed the repair in my Zurich household insurance and they paid the lot. Now I wish I had had a genuine Apple repair...

We've just had daughters iPhone 5C screen / homebutton replaced by 'HandyMarkt' in Konstanz ... http://www.handymarkt-konstanz.de/
cost was 127€, collect at the weekend, so will let you know what it looks like.
Looked all in CH, but couldn't find anything sensible for prices. ( needed iPad screen replacement as well )

Re: has anyone used iOops(ioops.ch) for iPhone repair?

Here's a quick update, collected iPhone and iPad from HandyMarkt in Konstanz, prices as quoted ( iPhone5c 117€, iPad 2 109€ ), and they had even cleaned up the iPad case on the corner which was where the iPad 'bounced' and was a bit bent and scratched ( no extra cost ).

They quoted 1 week to repair, but actually both were ready after 5 days, so if you can combine a trip to Konstanz with food, clothes or wine shopping and a cheap meal, then I would recommend HandyMarkt for phone repair.

( best is not to let them bounce !!! )

Re: has anyone used iOops(ioops.ch) for iPhone repair?

thank you all for your suggestions.

update on iOops.ch:: I had my wife's iPhone glass replaced by iOops. had to send in the iPhone per post which cost me 7 bucks per A-post and I had the phone back in 2 days for only CHF 120.00 with a rechnung to pay post this repair. I received the phone per registered post all inclusive in the repair cost.

extremely satisfied with the service and the owner was quick to contact and respond.

What's an iPhone?

I have managed to avoid the mobile phone craze. I once offered my niece 500 USD if she would give me her phone for a week. She refused. Judging people's behavior with those thing, I think there might be an addiction potential.
