I know it's a stupid Friday thread and all but it's obvious she isn't a native English speaker so why mock her mistakes?

I hate speaking French for fear of making mistakes and if someone mocks them it puts my French firmly back in its shell.
indeed, thank you very much for your support and understanding, some of the responses feels like attacks, I would love to see how good those guys in foreign languages

Dutch-glory - are you sure your location on your profile is accurate?

Welcome to your community, btw - a community of evident dating experts. Wishing people not to judge, on online forum, will be a bit difficult, so is receiving a genuine answer to your particular request. Not sure what answer is expected by a socially mature person, tbh...Bars? Events? Sport clubs? I think meeting through friendships helps here, it is a discrete culture.

Hi,
I wanted some advice on Swiss Men! where to find decent, nice, carring, well educated swiss guys? Seeking for swiss men between 36-40+ , English or dutch speaking. Please recommend the dating sites or any local place for singles, divorced and unhappy men
by the way I am dutch
you could google strichplatz and bust single, divorced unhappy man round there? make a sign, like these hitchhikers do: im single, dutch, looking for you! please stop and have a chat with me before wasting money here... its a new approach as all other gilrs do online platforms, local grocery store, cafes, clubs, gym, workmates etc. so you source at source. think about it!?

Q - What's the difference between a new carpet and the OP?

A - A new carpet has a better than average chance of getting laid, in the near future.

Re: how to date a swiss men

There are lots of "unhappy men" on this forum - just look at some of the responses on this thread for starters!

Have you tried the Tinder smartphone dating app? Some of my girlfriends use it with wildly varying results.

well.. i'm not sure what you're implying about "client" you must feel in your "business" here or your reference point is defenitely in a very "dutch" level !!

In any case if you'd like to further educate yourself (as you're looking for a well educated swiss man) you might want to google abit about the lanstrasse, but if that is anyhow too difficult for you then i save you the time:

http://www.srf.ch/play/tv/dok-zueric...8-8fe8d317e5ea
Let me step down from my "dutch" level to yours, and give some information regarding your feedback on Langstrassein Zurch, I believe it is the same as mentioned here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langstrasse
The quarter has a population of 10,500 on an area of 1.13 km². It is notorious as Zurich's red light district, with a soaring crime rate, drug dealing and brothels. It is also the most overtly multicultural spot in Zurich, with a rate of 42% foreign residents, among the highest in Zürich. Due to the problems in this district, the City Council approved on 14 March 2001, the comprehensive project "Langstrasse PLUS" to achieve an improvement in public order and safety.

To your knowledge the definition of steady client mean "regular customer" The regulars at a place or in a team are the people who often go to the place or are often in the team.
But if you need more clarity on that one, I would more than happy to assist you, don't be shy

you might still want to give it a try, i don't see why " a rate of 42% foreign residents, among the highest in Zürich" is such a bad thing?

also you quoted a project approved in 2001!! i think 14 years might have made a difference....

in any case, the way you presented yourself and how you described your preferences in swiss men can be missentepreted and the responses here are only a proof of that!
Good luck in your search, hope you find whatever it is that you are looking for!!

Aside from the obvious Friday-thread aspects, posts like these always make me scratch my head. Not all Swiss men are the same. Not all Swiss men that are nice, caring, and well-educated are the same. So what difference does it make if they are Swiss? Surely it's better to find someone whose interests and goals are compatible with your own, regardless of their nationality?

Re: how to date a swiss men

I agree with 3Wishes. How does it matter if these nice, middle-aged, educated, caring and currently unhappy for being single men, are Swiss or not? I am sure if you are an interesting person there will be some men seeking you much in the same manner as you are looking for them. For starters, you might try to make friendly conversations with people on the public transports. I know people who first met their respective partners while commuting (and I know very few people around here so that makes a high % )

Regards

Having read quite a few similar Friday-threads on EF I take it there is a myth transcending various cultures that all Swiss men must be nice, caring, well-educated, etc. An Eldorado of Mr. Perfects, if I may say so. I guess.
