Re: Health Drinks for Kids

What do you mean by ''health drinks'' for baby? There is no such thing. Give him water. Or if you really want to, search for special teas for babies, of course without sugar or anything else added. There is a list somewhere with teas for babies that are ''clean'' (no pesticide or any other nasties, there was a scandal few yrs ago with bad stuffs in baby tea). I can search it for you if you are interested. But not sure what you are talking about though . Are you searching something with some special Vitamins or...? Enlighten us.

I do not know how old your baby is. I recommend only boiled water. you could cook a little fennel in the water a few minutes for another tast. and it is good for the digestion. Please remove all fennel and do not give it to eat . but most of all the babys like theyr milk without taste changes. Thus, as already mentioned by others water is the best.

Gin and tonic, keeps the little sods docile.

Dash of whiskey in the evening milk, usualy helps with non interupted sleep.

I wish I read your advice some few years earlier, Today Only - would have had fewer sleepless nights

OP, not sure what you mean by health drinks for your baby. Are you looking for a supplement or something? If you fear your child is not getting all the necessary nutrients in his diet (perhaps because of veganism, or vegetarianism or just poor absorption of certain vits/ minerals), best to seek your paediatrician's advice. They are best placed and more qualified to determine what works best for your child.

Hi,

Maybe you can start to give meat to your son and he can decide himself when he is old enough if he wants to be vegeterian or not.. Protein is very important for a baby to grow as we all know...

What does his pediatrician say? Don't ask for recommendations for your baby on the internet - go and see your doctor if you have concerns.

I'm sure it is possible to give a balanced vegetarian diet if you are careful, but again this is something your doctor should be made aware of and advising you about.

I'd take him to the doctor - and take the doctor's advice on what to feed your child too.

It may be nothing to worry about but a doctor ought to be the judge of that. Impaired physical development at an early age can affect the child in later years.
