second hand clothes

Hi Everybody

I collected some second hand clothes in sion to send to earthquake victims in Nepal. But the agency who is delivering it to Nepal received more than what they can send and they are not accepting anymore clothes. I have like 30 boxes (well sorted), around 90 kg in total. Anybody knows how I can give it to a charity?

Yes, simply contact the charity and ask a) if they'd like to have them and b) whether they can collect them from you. Simple.

Re: second hand clothes

Whichever one you feel like contacting. Swiss Red Cross would be one and I also know that HIOB often have clothes for sale in their places. Check their website www.hiob.ch to see if there's one near you. Salvation Army is another one to try.

This may help:
