Re: Yellow dust...

We used to get this stuff in North Carolina, but way more than here. People said pine or oak pollen. Whatever it was, it sucked.

Way better than what we got today - nothing but rain all day.

Pardon-me, what's so problematic with it? It's just N A T U R E! - Why don't you apply for a one-way trip to Mars. Would be win-win, for both, you are free of any natural distrurbance, and we get rid off of one more frequent moaner about everything and idiotic issues.

On windy days at just the right time of spring, you can actually watch clouds of this pollen waft down from pine and fir trees. I've gotten tons of it in my apartment this year, but by some miracle I've not had any allergic reaction whatsoever. Fingers crossed...
Conifer's pollen hardly create any allergic reaction to anybody, especially not firs.

So because it's "just nature" it's not harmful and we have to love it?

Pollen sucks, a lot, for those of us with allergies.

Here, have a frog. It's nature.

Re: Yellow dust...

I've met many people suffering this year with pollen allergy including myself. If you take the meds you're just exhausted all the time.
I heard EFT could help it as its a bit like acupuncture. It would be interesting to know if anyone has had experience with this method.

No, no pricks. That's the point of Emotional Freedom Therapy. As I understand it, EFT involves tapping the energy meridians while voicing positive affirmations, so it's like a subtle combination of hypnosis and non-invasive acupuncture. It has been proven to be particularly effective in patients who suffer from MCGD (middle-class gullibility disorder).

Isn't it beautifully ironic that EFT also stands for Electronic Funds Transfer?

My simple point was: Nobody will ever suffice from fir pollen, since they lack a major ingredient to do so. And most other conifers, including pines will hardly make anybody suffer, since statistically allergic reaction from pines are extremely low, even among allergic people!!!

So if you suffer, rather look for a poor conifer forest on higher elevation, eventually you will even enjoy it.

It was currently rather, either, beech tree, oak tree, or grasses which made you cry!!

Re: Yellow dust...

Just to avoid misunderstandings: this site is one of the most useless one I know of.

It's about like a weather station would tell you how the weather was one or even two weeks ago (they do not provide more recent data about pollen than about the week before, and only once a week).

Great. Maybe you could make your point more nicely instead of what you wrote which was actually quite rude.

Whoa, wtf?

Lots of people are miserable this time of year. It was even more so where we once lived. Are you the boss of complaints?

You missed a perfect opportunity to educate, instead you called me a frequent moaner about idiotic issues.

Says more about you, I think.
