Well, not sure where I really should post this but I felt the need to get it out there. Everyone is always so negative about Switzerland and the customer service here but I just had a very nice surprise.
I order groceries form COOP@HOME on a regular basis. I pay ahead with a credit card so if something goes wrong with my day and I'm late getting home or something they will still leave the groceries. However, I've never needed them to do this. Someone is always home. And I even have a note in my order to ring the bell.
So twice now, the delivery has been "late" and while walking form one room to another I noticed the groceries sitting outside - for who knows how long! After the first time I just let it go - mistakes happen. However, when it happened again, I wrote a comment on the online survey, just to let them know. I wasn't expecting anything more than for it to not happen again.
Yesterday when I got home I found a small package in the mailbox - a bar of chocolate, an apology note, and a 20CHF rebate for my next order.
