Why surprised?
Because it happened only on Sunday and The Local is generally at least a week late.

Re: Swiss drunk airline passenger

Surprised at the reaction, when he realised he wasn't going to get a free choccy ... forgetting that he wasn't flying Swiss due to his inebriated state.

Just as well it wasn't a SAS flight returning from Majorca.

Re: Swiss drunk airline passenger

I certainly wouldn't like to be him when he's thrown in jail in Bangkok. He should have got drunk on his way home.

Or not got drunk in the first place.

Nothing wrong with getting drunk - the key is to not be such an a$$hole in the first place. Being drunk is not, in and of itself, the cause of such behaviour.
