did you see what I saw above the lake today?

Hi, I'd like to know if anyone saw the strangest and most beautiful 'thing' today above the lake of Zug around lunch time. Or maybe I hallucinated...

Re: did you see what I saw above the lake of Zug today?

I saw what would be described as an UFO, it was not high above the lake (Zug) and looked like a mirror shattered into many pieces which kept coming together and breaking again- I was wearing sunglasses and thought it was a flock of bird at first, took them off and saw what I described above- like a giant mirror breaking into pieces and coming together again- it was stunning. No idea what is was. I wanted to know if someone witnessed that too. My brother told me it could be a phenomena of ice and steam coming together but since it was not so high above the lake I'm wondering. I have no idea. I'm gonna look online and see if this was spotted by others today... I didn't look at the time but it must have been between 11.45 and 12.30.
ps: I was sober and not under any hallucinogenic drug!

Retinal tears have been known to cause such sightings. Sometimes comprised of flashes of lights, and floaters. Also, rapid eye tremors can also cause such illusions. If you continue to see more, you may need immediate consultation with an opthamologist or neurologist.

Ufo?

I was trying to understand what I was seeing and it lasted for maybe 10 or 15 seconds and then suddenly disappeared so nope, no photos.
Maybe it was some kind of mirage above the water... I was hoping someone saw that too. Oh well.

nope, nothing like that, as I described: a giant mirror breaking into pieces and coming back together- I really thought it was a flock of birds before I took my sunglasses off, v similar motions but it wasn't. Geometric shapes- like giant shards of glass. Colour: same as the reflections of a CD. I've checked media reports in the last 24 h but saw nothing of the kind.
