Re: My Swiss neighbours are awesome!

You're so lucky - how I wish I had Swiss neighbors again! I've been back in the states for a few months now and get to deal with the neighbors complaining about speeding, barking dogs, the fact that AT&T had a melt-down yesterday and there was no internet, cell phone coverage for HOURS, mowing lawns too late at night. My best friend's son moved to Zug years ago and doubt he's ever returning. Now I know why...
Give me the proper Swiss neighbor any day. I had great ones during my time in Feldmeilen. Can't wait to return for a long visit.

Re: My Swiss neighbours are awesome!

Update: they came, brought lovely gifts, chatted, drank and ate, invited me to their next garden party and crucially, agreed to my piano so some culinary bribery worked...

So I take it back! Apparently it hadn't even occurred to them not to come!

Sorry Marples. I'm going to go back to being sickeningly happy

Excuse me young lady, I can hear your piano from here. That awful racket keeps me awake at siesta time, which is unforgivable, given my nationality.

Are those spring rolls???? I expect some or I'll stalk all your threads with a . I hope you are shaking in your sandals.

You are making me hungry. Again. Even after I had my lunch.

You could offer your services professionally on here to folk like me who would love to bribe their neighbours to the point when I would dare to take my headphones off when playing my precious P-255. (I find headphones terribly hot in this weather when slaving over a C major scale)

No need to sweat the C major scales, just hit all the white keys

Polished like a hoover... all I had were some sad crumbs left. And waffles.

as in 'all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order'?
