What does this person want to say?

I saw this sign on the outside of a building (attached). It disappeared and now reappeared on a local compost bin.

I speculate that the individual who posted this is concerned about someone stealing a compost bin and that they should buy a new one from Coop for 30% off. Any ideas?

I have no other context to provide. I grayed out the address on the bottom of the sign which was presumably where the (bald?) thief lives. This is one of several mysterious signs that I have seen in my neighborhood.

At least someone who cannot write German properly. Seems he/she is complaining about the wheelie bin being stolen.

Re: What does this person want to say?

I can't really wrap my head around someone wanting to steal a smelly, wasp and fruit fly infested, dirty compost bin.

This person went to a lot of trouble to generate this sign, given the photo and the photocopied ad. And the mysterious smiley face.

One of the typical 1 August 'games' that local juvenile delinquents children around here play is to light firecrackers in neighborhood garbage and compost bins. Big explosion, maximum mess and damage.

If the sign appeared only this week, that might be why the bins have gone walkabout.

Or someone who presumes it was stolen by a foreigner who can`t write German properly.

I see what you did there.

I must admit that I find it amusing that the "ice cream" man ("Glaze" = Glace?) might have stolen the compost bin. My husband had initially proposed bald as the identifier ("Glaze" = Glatze?), but that's less amusing.

Re: What does this person want to say?

Nicht Stellen - so they don't want them to put it back.

(and then "stelen" - so maybe they do - and two at that.)

Gieb Zurück - But they want it back.

I'm thinking the Faulmann (a man) must have narrow eyes, a big smile and a "GlatZe" (bald). Maybe.

Re: What does this person want to say?

Good catch on the 2! I didn't think of that.

So a bald [lazy/bad?!] man with suspiciously smiley facial features at a certain address stole two compost bins [yuck] and should replace them with bins which happen to be on sale for 30% off.

The sale/ad is nice, neighborly tip, right?

Re: What does this person want to say?

bizarre.

faulmann has to be garbage man so i think it's some sort of request for the garbage man to place the bin somewhere specifically (or not steal it wtf)

Here's my take on what the victim of the missing wheelie bin wants to say.

Du Faulmann = Hey lazy man

Gieb zurück = give it back

nicht stellen = nicht stehlen = don't steal

2 smiley face, + arrows pointing to the place where they should "Stelen" = Stellen = put it back where you took it from and you will make me very happy.

Advert showing 30% off wheelie bins at ESE = buy your own bloody wheelie bin.

Glaze, Mann = Grazie? or could be referring to the smiley face, which would be the victim, if his wheelie bin was returned.
