Yes, second Tuesday of every month (except August) between 10am and 11am. Best to book in advance - Ueli tends to be the most helpful since Gunther retired last year.

Stop and breath buddy.

I dont know how good your english skills are but the important think to is relax and dont panic. Stress will make you commit errors. Try to be rational and when the time comes to visit the government office have everything your require and double check this.

Good luck mate and stay positive.

Re: worried

Ok i get it. In future i will use the correct punctuation.
Any advise would still be appreciated.
How long would it take to get work permit?
Because i have been here 2 months does this affect the application?
As i will only be working 50 per cent does this affect the application?
As i will get acomadation with the possition does this help the application?
Do i need a copy of my criminal record?
Im a uk citizen does this help or hinder my application?
What checks will the goverment do before i recieve an answer. Is there anything i can do or take to speed the application up?.

How long would it take to get work permit? 2-3 Weeks
Because i have been here 2 months does this affect the application? No
As i will only be working 50 per cent does this affect the application? No
As i will get acomadation with the possition does this help the application? No, you can live in a Hotel and get a Permit. That doesnt really matter.
Do i need a copy of my criminal record? No
Im a uk citizen does this help or hinder my application? You are a EU citizen, which helps!
What checks will the goverment do before i recieve an answer. Is there anything i can do or take to speed the application up?. Cannot answer that. But if you dont lie in your documents, you have a good chance to get accepted!

As an EU national you have no problem in getting a work permit so just take your employment contract, passport, some passport sized photos down to the gemeinde where your new accommodation will be and register there. That'll start the process of to get your permit issued. 50% should be enough, but they'll tell you if they don't consider you'll earn enough to get a permit.

You can start work once you've registered; your permit will take a few weeks to be issued.
