lululink, maybe you ought to post a picture of yourself to complete the story.

Alright, to be fair, I'm sure you can find all kinds of sh!t if you look for it. But why even notice it? Who's got time for that? Focus on the women. They're pretty fine, no?

I waited at the freaking bus stop and he didn't stop the bus and then I started waving. He still didn't stop the bus after seeing me waving. That's just wrong, very wrong.
Being east European, maybe he thought that you were waving to greet him, how friendly of you.
A fairly universal sign to stop would be an open hand raised in the air with all fingers together and pointing upward, much like you might signal a cab to stop in the US.(not only the middle finger, this gets mixed responses)

Coop black lady is a cashier. She takes an order, quotes the price, receives the money and returns the difference.
Somehow this sentence comes across as rather condescending.
This lady regardless of skin color etc. is working and earning an honest living serving people(hats off to her) who in some cases seem to be making a big noise about her being black and doing her job.
Be grateful, here you can not enter a store without either leaving your goods from other stores at a parcel counter or having your bag sealed with tape to ensure you don't slip other goods into your bag.

That bus stop only has one bus line. So everyone at the bus stop should be waiting for that bus line, logically. That bus driver must have known that I was waiting for that bus. I didn't have to wave. He should stop because I was there waiting for him.
Nonetheless you may see buses passing buy that aren't part of the line, which obviously wouldn't stop for you.

I haven't see you post he was on duty, as demonstrated by the display above the drivers cabin showing the line number and the station name you were waiting at (I'm not familiar with Winterthurs bus system, but I assume that to apply to each and every bus line in Switzerland). If you'd noticed you'd most likely have mentioned that long ago.

No, it's not. The reason I pointed out is because even foreigners discriminate others. Not only Swiss people and the white Swiss folks are usually very nice.
I'm apparently not white and she thinks that's okay to f*** with me. Trust me she knew what she was doing. Nobody is stupid.
You, non-white, are swiss. She, non-white, has what nationality? Unless you asked her, how can you claim she's foreign (post #20)?

Coming from you, a non-white who is implying racism by mentioning that fact in your first post and calling her actions discrimination(post #20), I find the above most <insert pejoratives (mustn't break forum rules)>

Again, no one is stupid. For someone who lived here almost his entire life knows that this bus driver comes from Eastern European. Where else could he come from? Mars?
It's good to see you have no prejudice at all.

Feel free to go back into the sinkhole you came from.

Re: What's up with the people in Switzerland?

Some of you get offended by some stuff I wrote.
That's good, because I got offended by some stuff those people did to me.
Now you know what I felt. Everyone has his or her standpoint. I'm just writing something that I experienced in my daily life in Switzerland. If you don't like it, that's fine. At least, I didn't insult anyone here on this forum.

I just posted what I encountered. It has nothing to do with skin color.
I said the people in Switzerland. That's including everyone.

You guys always focus on the part where I mentioned the skin color.
And no one gave a shit about that white Swiss dude. I just wrote what I saw.
I am just sad that even foreigners or Non-white folks are mean these days.
They used to be friendly. I'm a polite person and never hurt other people's feeling. But right now I'm just confused.

That's because we all know they're the worst. What, did you think no-one has encountered a grumpy old Swiss man before? Moaha ha ha.
Seriously....you'll get used. Btw, where have you been? California?

No, you voice your interpretations. Otherwise you would neither call the bus driver eastern european nor the black cashier a foreigner.

Alright folks,

I just got back from the States three weeks ago.
And I have experienced some pretty f***ed up shit so far.

Ok, I had never lived in Winterthur and don't know shit about this city.

But within these three weeks, I feel like I was being mistreated and discriminated against.

Case 1:
I went to Coop restaurant near the train station the other day.
I bought some hot food from the COOP grocery store to the COOP restaurant.
A black lady working at the counter told me to pay for it. What the ?
Can't she see that the food is not from the COOP restaurant?

Exactly who is the one focusing on skin color and "foreigner" here?
How the hell do you know she's not Swiss? She has no duty whatsoever to prove anything to you. She did her job, which she should have.

I hope that the vulgar language you use in your writing doesn't come out in your speech as well. That's a turnoff in any country.

Kinda shows that what is called "politically correct" is sometimes hypocrisy in disguise.
