A couple of questions...

Hi Everybody,
I just arrived to Vevey and being my first time here, I'm totally lost!!
Maybe you can help me with a couple of things:
- Where can I do my laundry? and how much does it cost?
- Where can I do my grocery shopping?
- Can i find a good gym near? (with yoga classes?)
Any advice is more than welcome.
Thank you!!

Re: A couple of questions...

Does your building have a laundry? It's most likely downstairs. Go as far down stairs as you can and look for something that looks like this

If not, ask a neighbour where a laundry is. If there aren't any, buy a washing machine.

Coop, Migros, Denner are where you can buy food things. Take a walk around and look for a building that looks like this

or this

or this

and even this

be careful though, because this can happen...

Gyms, read here

and here

let us know how you get on.

In addition to Migros and Coop the best grocery dept is in the basement of Manor - opposite the Gare.

No, some people would view it as a stupid lazy question which got the answer is deserved. (I love this third person technique, I am going to use it more often)

Rude? Not at all. Gooner is very helpful in his post. Truthful in every way.
Not one bit of rudeness noted.

On top of Gooner's willingness to help out a fellow EFer, Gooner adds a touch
of humor in his post. Who else would take the time to locate photos and present them in such a pleasing method.
