Hi
Just need quick help as I'm finding it difficult understand in the gov.uk site
Basically a family member of mine is returning to UK after a few weeks in the USA
As she was there I decided to order some items from footlocker USA online and various other things and she is bringing them to UK in suitcase obviously

The total value of purchases is under 375£ which I believe is the amount allowed where you don't pay tax

Does she need to declare or write anything on the form she's given at the airport?does she need to write anything on it or leave it empty If purchases are under 375£? Do you know what form I'm talking about ?

And does she have to stop on the red area for things to declare? Or is that only if the value is over 375?

Who controls that form and check the bags ? It's when she arrives in UK airport right? Not when in USA airport leaving for UK right???

Thanks

Is this the form she will be given ? Found it on google

Re: Travelling back from USA to uk

its 390 Pound. No need to declare anything. Simply put "no"to all questions if needed-unless of course you are bringing explosives! No stopping in red area. Go through the green exit! That form is for people going to USA
