Piano, Cello, Flute or Violin for regular pracice

Hello All,

I am living in Zürich for a little more than a year now. I used to play piano at a relatively high level in Paris Normal School of Music 15 years ago, and ever since I tried to keep alive the remnants of my music golden age by practicing at least an hour every second day (I'm renting a piano in my apartment).

It is hard to keep up and find some time for practicing when you have a full time job and all the errands to do by yourself. To keep motivation up and exploring new music fields I am looking for a cellist or violonist or flutist to meet regularly at my place in order to practice some sonatas or any piece for both instruments that would be of interest, or also a pianist to practice 4 hands pieces (only interested in so-called classical music).

Is there any amateur who is willing to keep up his or her past technical level in one of those instruments, and sign in for regular practice hours (at least weekly) in my apartment (I live in district 8045).

Cheers !

I own the Harmonium of Mum, a very heavy Piece of furniture. The Hamonium has not been in use for 30 years. Available for free, the Problem is the transport

It's a shame you don't live near my dear longtime friend fantastic pianist John Wolf Brennan http://www.brennan.ch/
John's an incredible Irish pianist and composer based in Weggis,Switzerland for years;and also teaches years in Lucerne.

I would be - you live by my office so fairly convenient. I'm a pianist, but out of practice for about a year with the move, though Trinity LTCL level some 10 years ago (prepared but never sat the exam). Are there any 4 hand pieces you have in mind? I've been eyeing at the Chopin Concerto 1 for 4 hands for a while but may need to start more basic after that break

Edited to add: I just received my Zurich piano yesterday, so am aiming to get back to my old standard also within the next couple of months... I won't be rusty forever!

Edited again: LTCL - not FTCL... shows how long it's been.
