Urgent buying something at the kiosk asap

Hi, I want to buy a Mars bar at the kiosk, but it's 2 chf and I only have a 5 chf coin. What happens if I give the nice lady the 5 chf coin? Can I use a 5 chf coin to buy a Mars bar? What happens if I don't like the Mars bar when I've bought it?

Please answer quickly as the nice lady is looking impatient and there are a few people standing behind me.

Thank you.

Normally in such situations you'll get a piece of cheese in return. You can then take that piece of cheese to the bakery, in exchange for half the cheese they'll give you a loaf of bread, you can then take your half block of cheese and a loaf to the butcher who, in return for half of your cheese and half a loaf of bread will slice your cheese and slice your bread. With your 1/4 piece of cheese and half a slicked loaf you can go to the deli, where in exchange for half of your sliced bread will give you a pickle.

You will then have a mars bar and the ingredients to make a cheese and pickle sandwich. Make the cheese and pickle sandwich, eat and save the Mars bar for later.

Re: Urgent buying something at the kiosk asap

You shouldn't be buying a Mars bar because Mars is an evil corporation that kills unicorns and makes chemtrails. You should go for a mountain hike instead. Or attend the Diwali celebrations in Leicester.

Furthermore, you should go shopping in Lörrach because Mars bars are cheaper there and you can reclaim VAT (about 20 cents), but only if you spend about an hour filling in a form that you have to hand in at an office that is never open.

Re: Urgent buying something at the kiosk asap

I'm confused. The nice lady shouted at me and someone at the back of the line threw a bag of peanuts at me so I gave the nice lady my 5 chf coin and she gave me a 1 chf coin and a 2 chf coin! But the Mars bar cost 2 chf, so didn't she just give me my money back with a bit extra? I should have given her 2 chf, but I came out of the kiosk with 3 chf! That means I've made a whole 1 chf on the deal?

Except I left the Mars bar behind in the kiosk. Do you think I should go in and get it, or will the nice lady realise that I've made 3 chf out of her?

So you liked this one (Urgent buying something on Ricardo asap) so much that you felt the urge to go for a Mars?
Jokes are always so much funnier when you have somebody explain them to you.

If you have 5CHF to spend you clearly need a tax accountant to help with these problems. Do you really just trust what random strangers on the Internet tell you?

Can you recommend a good tax accountant? Do they speak English? How fast can they get to the kiosk? I'm getting hungry now.

Did you not get the cheese?

I suspect you didn't greet the person using their family name. Go back and buy another mars bar and let us know what happens

I recommend you dial a special tax advisor whose number is 117. When the friendly man comes, tell him "Fick di am arsch". This is a friendly way to greet tax accountants in Switzerland and he will be your bestest friend forever.

I didn't get any cheese. How do I find out the family name of the nice lady? Will she shout at me again? Will I have to give my 3 chf back or do I get to keep it?

Also I want to buy a bottle of water. Do they sell water in this kiosk? How will I recognise it?

To me this just proves that the Swiss are so racist. Something like this would never ever have happened in Milton Keynes. It couldn't because they don't even know what a 5CHF coin is there. Switzerland is just so backwards.

When i was a little boy I once went with my great aunt Doris Toberlonograd and the Sultan of Mellingen Heitersberg to buy a bottle of water from a kiosk in Schaffhausen. This was during the Ramadan but the sultan was excused on medical grounds and anyway the Prophet never forbade the drinking of bottle water during hours of daylight. I can't actually remember what the bottle looked like but two years previously allied planes had bombed Schaffhausen, which was only possible because Churchill had stolen blueprints of a crystal meth factory off the Japanese in 1941 in an incident involving the SBB regulations on the transport of pumpkins as layed down in 1876 and revised in 1902 and again in 1921 (twice).

Re: Urgent buying something at the kiosk asap

You should be aware of the law.
Although it is all verbal you will enter a proper contract, please see: https://www.admin.ch/opc/en/classifi...009/index.html

If the Kiosk Lady is the Devil you may not have bought only a Mars bar, but sold your soul as well.

It could also be some kind of research project, foreigners may not be aware, but the law in Switzerland is completely different and more relaxed. Even parents send their kids to such researches, alone w/o accompanying them. https://www.admin.ch/opc/en/classifi...313/index.html

Finally, you should never hand over money to a stranger. Always transfer it to a special Kiosk bank account in your name. Only if there is no dispute after two weeks the Kiosk lady may demand the money from a bank.

Stay away, it is a huge scam. A proper Kiosk lady would have offered you a Happy Day Lottery Ticket.

PS: In what Canton and Town did this happen. You must always state your precise location "Deepest Glarnerland" is too vague. Otherwise we may get wrong and unmeaning full answers.

Yes. We increase our post count by posting. It's very technical and requires a lot of skill.
