Wallisellen - a good place to live?

Hi All,

I am looking for an appartment in the Zurich Area. I am looking at wallisellen as it is not too far from my workplace and it has a lower tax rate than Zurich.
I was wondering if it is a safe place to live for families, and if you can safely walk in the night from the train station to the town. Furthermore I wonder if it has a nice places to ride bikes or simply walking.

When a Swiss band wanted to make a song about all the rather nondescript suburbian small towns... they called it Wallisellen.



I do not think you will easily find a place that is not safe to walk at night in Switzerland. Wallisellen has a certain amount of immigrant population, but I think it's ok. And they have one of the best swimming pools for a town this size I have ever been to... and a shopping mall, cinema and IKEA nearby.

Walisellen: It is even on this list When you have been everywhere nice you need some spice.
