Re: Online Shopping

Www.boden.co.uk they remove to VAT at the checkout and then it's CHF25 customs cost plus the duty. Works out cheap if you order quite a lot of stuff. There is also a 3 month return policy.

Re: Online Shopping

I find the selection of greeting cards not very good and expensive here so usually order my cards from here. http://www.orchardcards.co.uk/ They remove the VAT if you email them after you have placed your order. There is a delivery charge but if you order enough cards at once the VAT return and UK prices make this a good deal.

Re: Online Shopping

I saw a billboard on Zurichstrasse in Adliswil for a new Swiss online shop, something like galaxy.ch or universe.ch or something along those lines. Household, electronics, baby, etc. Seems like a sort of Swiss Amazon.

I can't remember the name! I'd love to check it out. Does anyone know the name? Thanks!

Galaxus.ch

It is a Digitec.ch spin-off partly owned by Migros now.

Sorry, I forgot this one. Its rather a shopping mall than a single shop, perhaps you will find something appropriate there:http://www.swisswebmall.com/html/clothing.html

Re: Online Shopping

If you go to this page:

http://www.fiftyone.com/clients

you will find a list of U.S. stores that offer pretty reasonable international shipping.

Also, www.overstock.com is a good site for housewares, clothing, jewelry, etc. They also have a "Worldstock Fair Trade" option that sells unique items made by artisans from all over the world: (http://www.overstock.com/Worldstock-...l?TID=TN:AD:WS)

Re: Online Shopping

OK, I seemed to have figured it out on my own
I looked at a few of the online stores mentioned here and found Piazza's suggestion (lightinthebox) to be one of the best for what I'm looking for. Relatively low prices, no shipping fees and they accept PayPal
