Re: Making exceptions for the Arabs.

I am about 6 Tram stops from ZRH and can see it from my Terrace. I sleep with the balcony door open.

I am pleased to confirm that no sleep was lost. Chill out, find something else to moan about.

IIRC the one from north Africa landed shortly after midnight, 00:15 or so. The other two that came from the Near East landed at 5AM.

I'm not entirely sure what your question implies, but I'll try and take it the right way and answer in a civil manner...

I am not in the normal landing flight path, however occasional planes to take off and pass over me, maybe one an hour at the most. My apartment does give me a view of planes landing from both West and East though, and I can hear them if I am outside or have a window open.

I didn't notice any extra out-of-hours noise whilst sleeping with my window open, so not sure it was a huge distraction to many people, and I'm sure most understand that for a medical emergency, you need to allow landing at any hour of the day or night.

Ok so nothing really exceptional. Planes leave fairly often until 00.30 in case of problems. The 2 that came at 5am could have waited until 6am.
