Can anyone recommend a good skin doctor/specialist in Lausanne

I have countless back spots and pimples in my face. I have had them for 2 years (not the same) and I would like to see a doctor, as I have tried all other advices given by friends. I am very light skinned and those black (about 50) big and small spots are the first thing people notice about me. I feel like it can be treated but I need to consult a skin doctor, and I hope anyone her points me to the right direction.

First thing is that it is difficult to find a dermatologist at least in this part of CH.

I know two people who see this lady - Dr. Dagmar Dumowski. She is located in Place St. François (across from the post office).

Mrs. Dr.med. Dagmar Gumowski Dermatologue
Dermatologist
Address: Place Saint-François 12, 1003 Lausanne
Phone:021 329 03 33

Be aware, if your diet is the problem (eating junk, sugar etc.), she will give you sh*t for it.

Give her office a call.

Ah thanks for the advice. I will book an appointment asap.
Also I didn't know sugar was bad for acne. Thanks Verbier

Acne is a skin disease and there is no evidence for a conclusive link between diet and acne.

Other skin problems that are not actual acne may or may not be influenced by diet.

What you have exactly a doctor will find out.

Probably the best way would be to contact the dermatology department in CHUV.

Allergies and dermatological problems are notoriously hard to pin down, here today, gone tomorrow, good food, bad food, allergy to this but only if taken with that and so on. A good dermatologist is usualy old, meaning a lot of experience.

I suggest you try CHUV as with the collective experience of several doctors you may find a suitable treatment quicker as from what i understand, certainly to start with, it's a bit hit and miss until the problem can really be narrowed down that doesn't happen overnight usually.
