How to spend my money

I have lived in "Die Schweiz" for a few years now and have saved up way too much money, and need advice on how to spend it.

Should I:
- Go out drinking with my friends
- Buy a pair of pants in a shop on Bahnhofstrasse
- Invest in gold bullions
- Take a taxi anywhere
- Buy a beer at a bar down town
- Purchase beef in the supermarket

I make CHF 150K a year including bonus. Advice much appreciated.

Get a girlfriend!

In fact, get two.

The money will soon be gone.

Go into a casino and put it all on red.

Your problem of excess liquidity will be instantly solved or you'll walk out of it twice as rich.

Re: How to spend my money

Actually, buying a pair of pants on Bahnhofstrasse might not fit the intended irony of the post. True, depends on the shop, but there are quite a few shops there where pants cost less than...gulp...Germany! (especially when there are sales, which for some reason seem to be way better bargains i de Schwiiz than abroad)

I might be understanding it wrong but my impression was always that certain men buy a Ferrari in order to impress girls. These girls are then interested in expensive cars and anything else that is expensive and should be a solution for the OP's problem.

So then why didn't he find a girl?

German lessons? In der Schweiz, surely?

Spend it on women, wine and song. The rest just waste. (c)Georgie Best.

Give 10% to a charity of your choice. It's good for the soul. If it's one that provides shoes for homeless kids, it's also good for the sole.

Hows your pension fund? If it's not great, then if possible put extra payments into it, or invest in shares/bonds/gold.

You're not going to be impressing Swiss girls with a Ferrari on 150k... on that salary he's going to need some looks and charisma to go with it.

Have kids! They'll empty your wallet in no time.

If small kids are not your thing, then go for a sugar baby.
