Re: Anyone for Squash - Zurich

Hi,

I'm due to move into Zurich in mid-November and enjoy a game of squash (I play in the local county leagues in the UK) if you guys are up for it.

Are there any squash clubs in Zurich?

Cheers

Paul

Re: Anyone for Squash - Zurich

Hi Paul,

I am gagging for a game but I imagine that you will give me a sound drubbing if you are a county player. Nonetheless, give me a shout when you get here, if you are interested.

There seem to be several clubs around, including Airgate in Oerlikon and one in Schlieren (Vitis) that seems to have a good few courts;

http://www.airgatesquash.ch/
http://www.gc-squash.ch/
http://www.vitis.ch/site/index.cfm

I just arrived and I have more than enough dull admin / house-related stuff to do, but if I don't get a game soon, I will go nuts...

Best, Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the note.

I'm not a County Player - just play in the leagues....but a game will be great.

I'll give you a shout when I get out and we can get together.

Cheers

Paul

Perfect. I am playing at Vitis in Schlieren on Monday night so I will see what the courts are like.

Cheers, Chris

Hi Chris, I am a beginner level squash player and wanted to work on it. Let me know if you still need a partner. Pravin.

Re: Anyone for Squash - Zurich

Hi Parvin,

I would be glad to have a game with you. I am away for 10 days so I will pm you when I get back.

I don't know how much you are used to paying for a game of squash, but I used to pay £5.50 non-members fees for a game at my local club in the UK. I obviously haven't been here long enough because I nearly dropped my sandwich when I found out it costs chf 34 for a court at peak time at Vitis...

Admittedly, it was a very nice squash court.

Best, Chris

Re: Anyone for Squash - Zurich

I am playing squash at an intermediate level, and usually play at the Airgate club close to oerlikon.

So would love to play with someone who is at an intermediate level.

I have been playing squash since 9 months. ( just something about my squash skills )

Please pm me , if someone fancies a game.

Thanks
Mitesh

Squash partner

Hi,

I currently play squash about once a week at Luxor gym near Paradeplatz, and as I'm looking to play more frequently in order to burn off the lingering Xmas man-boobs, wanted to see if anyone was keen to play?

I'm intermediate level, probably nearer beginner than I am expert, but competent enough.

Let me know if you fancy knock about.

Jon

Re: Squash partner

Hi Jon,

I just arrived in Zurich and am keen for a game to not only deal with lingering Xmas flab, but also try and de-rust my game after a break of about a year or so.

Used to play quite a lot, so not a beginner, but certainly recall being whipped a lot by the club crew, so guess I wasn't quite intermediate either. Be great to set up a game if you're keen.

This week is out for me, but I could make most nights next week (w/c 7th Feb)?

Best,
James

Hi guys, I am also starting with squash after a long time. I am a beginner and would like to start playing regularly in tscs.ch (in Langnau a. A.).

Anyone up for a game? Msg me.

I would definitely be up for some squash. Have any EF clubs formed for this yet?
