Swiss Cycling association

hi everyone, i'm not quite sure yet what this is exactly about, so the title is still subject to changes.

here's a pic i took of some blokes wearing "IG Velo" tops at the Baden train station and they were apparently giving the folks in the pic free checks/tune-up on their bikes. i was catching a train, so i didnt stop to find out. Can anyone verify? seems like pretty nice thing to do though, if it really were free...

Re: Swiss Cycling association

A google search for "IG Velo" brought me to the website of the Swiss Bicycle Advocacy Association. The website is very simple, but that's who they are.

Re: Swiss Cycling association

The association used to have different names in the different Swiss languages. At that time, it was called IG Velo in the German part. A year or two ago, they standardized it to be called "Pro Velo" throughout the whole country. Chris gave the link to the brief info available in English, their main page is only available in German or French. There are local branches of the association all over the country, here is the one in Baden that was probably organizing that.
