Geese with Bells??

So here I was a few weeks ago, running along the River Limat, and I hear all these bells. Normally I would associate this with cows or sheep, but I looked towards where I though the sound was coming from, only to see a bunch of geese. Whilst I was sweating a bit at the time, and it may have blurred my vision, I couldn't believe the Swiss would also put bells on their geese!

Fowl play I thought! But then I looked round a bit more, to see that a little further up the river bank, there where a couple of old goats (not OAP's) with the offending bells attached.

So I was thinking; Has anyone ever seen any other animal apart from cows, sheep & goats wearing bells?

Re: Geese with Bells??

Sheep, but i feel sorry for the most beautiful cow because they have to wear the biggest bell just imagine having to wear the bell and it is always clinging when the cow moves, it is a good job that cows don`t drink just think if they did and had a hangover in the morning then CLING CLING CLING went the bell.

Note to self if i come back in the after life please don`t let me be a cow, and if i do please let me be an ugly cow

Ah, cool. Probably not. I tend to run from work in Baden, but if I go running in Neuenhof, it's generally along the fields to Killwangen.

What do you think of Neuenhof?

I enjoy living here due to the fact that for once; it takes me only 13min by train to get to my work place in Turgi and for twice I can enjoy my major hobby i.e. tennis with a short distance walk to the club. Amenities, MIGROS and COOP, shopping mall in Kilwagnen Spreitenbach are nearby and easy access to Baden or Zürich. It is quite central to everywhere in Switzerland. On the hindside it is a small village and quiet. More for family life. Rental prices I find cheaper compare with e.g. Zürich where I had to pay much more for yet smaller place and my ticket used to be 4 times more than what I have to cough up now!

How about you?
