Another external drive just 'died' on me. I think I'm going to back up to tape instead | | | | | I would recommend a RAID system, which has as much redundancy as you can afford. If you don't want to build your own, but have cash to burn, http://www.drobo.com/ here is a fantastic product that I've used happily.

Edit - beaten to it

From the Swiss dance championships. I didn't really get any good photos, but thought I'd post something.
Any photographers in Schaffhausen. Would be good to get a local group going here as Zurich and Basel are a bit of a trek. | | The following 3 users would like to thank Phil_MCR for this useful post:

Hey Phil, from what I played with it its def HighEnd videos. But to be honest I hardly want to use it since I use it inside the studio for most of my commercial work. Plus on the photography side the 5DmkII is the first Canon product that has managed to get on the same level quality wise as the Nikon D3 | | This user would like to thank ThomasCAN for this useful post:

just some non fancy very dark images, taken at 0815 bar, after the day in the studio of radio nrj we all went to grab some drinks and with the very little light in this location, it made it very special to shoot some fun pics...
Just found one of my fav. shots during my stay in south africa, this image has been published in several Aviation Magazines all over the world also made it for a few as cover shot.
This is the famous last flying Piper Apache on the African Continent, operated by Cape Flying Services where I trained for my Commercial License. Here seen departing out of Oudtshoorn FAOH with the outeniqua mountains in the back.
enjoy this shot! It's dedicated to all the Pilots and Cabin crews out there! | | The following 6 users would like to thank ThomasCAN for this useful post:

The first time I wanted to try out "street view" in Zurich, I dragged the little man to a random spot on the map, and that's what showed up..... http://pikchur.com/GnD | Quote:
