| | | CoOp Online shopping
Good evening everyone.
I have just placed my very first order online with Coop.
As somebody that can't speak German I am hoping and praying that my order will turn up tomorrow evening as I think I have organised.
I just have one issue, I placed the order and gave bank details etc etc and waited for them to thank me for ordering blah blah blah but I was expecting an email confirming my order and I haven't. Is this normal? Has anyone else placed an order and not recieved a e mail to confirm? Should I wait until the morning and if I still have not recieved one call them?
Thanks for any feedback

Did you try to pay with your post account? If so, and you didn't get a confirm email, then your order didn't go through. That's happened to me a few times, very frustrating. Now I just pay with credit card and on the same day send the cash to the credit card company.

Did you get a confirm email?
Go into their system, log into your account and look at past orders - if it isn't there, then it didn't go through.

Coop homepage > online shopping (and log in on the bottom left of the page with your email address and password) > Mein Konto (from the top menu) > Bisherige Bestellungen (from the left menu)
Hope that helps!

LeShop (operated by Migros) have a pretty much identical delivery service, but with the website completely in English : www.leshop.ch
I use both, as they have some slightly different ranges, and find them both good; reliable on times, mostly fine produce selections, everything I ordered in the bags.
Hope your order turns up ok.

I have successfully used le shop by Migros but now need to order a swimming pool of drink for our school Summer Fete and I am told it is cheapest with Coop on line.
However I am totally baffled by the itunes program which I am being asked to download (we have ipods but no iphones) and just want to place a quick order. Have searched for help, but hoped someone could put me out of my misery - is this the only way to order from Coop?
Many thanks

Change the language to suit at the top of the page, then start shopping!

It normally takes a few minutes for the confirmation to come through. We love Coop delivery. Have been using it for over a year now and they have never made a mistake. Try the Bio Alp Ice Tea - it is fantastic.

Many thanks | | | | | No Itunes is needed for shopping there.
However, I did exactly the same thing last time I visited the coop.ch - thought it was strange since I've used the site many times without having to have Itunes...Realized though that I over and over again clicked on their campaigne for podcasts/itunes (biggest box on the page with the pig in).
Kodokans tips on going in directly via www.coopathome.ch is better!

Regarding Coop online shopping and recycling - a couple of orders ago we got a huge plastic sack from them for PET recycling. Have I understood it correctly that the driver will take this away when it is full?
I tried to ask the driver about this last time and showed him the sack (which was half-full at the time). As my German is poor and he had no English I couldn't be sure whether he was saying he wouldn't take the sack because it wasn't full yet, or if he wouldn't take the sack full stop.
Does anyone know how this should work?

They will take the sack when it is full.
Also I was told to squeeze the bottles so that more of them would fit into the sack | | This user would like to thank ACM for this useful post: | |

However - make sure there are no milk PET bottles in there, they won't take it if there are.

Not only will they take your plastic, they take your glass, too. We order a ton of wine and are so happy for this service.
