Are there Spiritualist Churches in Switzerland?

I've tried searching on t'Internet but cannot find a Spiritualist Church in Switzerland. I know that there are some European countries where they are not found/accepted but wondered if this was also the case here.

If anyone can help with one in Zurich then that would be fab!

Re: Are there Spiritualist Churches in Switzerland????

What is a Spiritualist church ? Maybe it would be good to find out what the equivalent name might be in German or is it called the same everywhere ? ...

It's called the game of "scam the chump" and it exists everywhere in many languages. I advise this person to go in at the deep end and contact his local Church of Scientology without delay.

Here I got a list of different churches and movements in Switzerland in German, you can switch to French or Italian, maybe you can recognise yours.

Google has many opinions, but does not suffer from cognitive dissonance. That is its main strength.

And when Google can't help?

There's useful opinion: "There's a spiritualist church in Snootikon, but the pastor is a fraud, so I'd go elsewhere if I were you".

Then there's useless opinion: "Oooh, you don't want to do that, ooh no...."

Re: Are there Spiritualist Churches in Switzerland?

The Spiritualists National Union in the UK http://www.snu.org.uk/ lists locations and includes some overseas but nothing in Switzerland there I'm afraid. It might be worth contacting them though in case they have some contacts here. Maybe you'll find your door marked "summer".

Re: Are there Spiritualist Churches in Switzerland?

Thanks I never heard of this church so I guess I learnt my something new for the day...

Just in case, there is no legal restriciton here in Switzerland as far as religions etc go... Even cults get a fair run here (not implying anything).

To the OP good luck in finding something..

To the mick-takers: while this is far from my cup of tea, the OP neither tried to convert anyone on the EF (something I would find VERY offensive) nor was he/she overly obtrusive, it was a simple request for information and I suspect with the hope that some like-minded/faithpractitioner was to be found lurking on EF.

Personally, if I have to listen to church bells and tolerate that, we can show tolerence to other faiths without passing judgement.

Re: Are there Spiritualist Churches in Switzerland?

Using google.ch, I found this: http://www.relinfo.ch/index/spiritismus.html

As I expected, it's in German, which may or may not help the OP. The likelihood of an organized English-language spiritualist group, let alone an actual church, in CH seems very slim.

Re: Are there Spiritualist Churches in Switzerland?

ZOE located at 808 Badenerstrasse, Zurich. There is another such church in Wurenlos (towards Baden), but I don't know many of their details. Lastly, the English Church of Zurich in Oerlikon, again I don't know of their details. Peace.
