But w/ the EF nights, we are nice people. Even people looking for friendship only can find luck there.

Yes they are not dating meetups by any stretch of the imagination, so I wouldn't want to give her that impression, but if you put a large group of people who speak the same language in a room then sometimes you get a bit of chemistry and nature takes its' course. They're the best chance of meeting someone in natural circumstances I think, as opposed to any contrived online dating setting.

So hopefully we can expect intlkitty at the next Drinks Night and I'll have my witty charm waiting.

I'm looking forward to the next EF drinks to be honest, i've only been back in the UK for a week and i'm already missing Zurich. I'm hoping the New Year weekend drinks will be epic.

In terms of the male to female ratio, generally going out (including the Weekend Drinks), it's much easier for a woman to find a man, then the other way around. Maybe this will encourage more women to show up to the social nights.

But honestly, I don't approach these nights as a "let me find a man" place. I look at it as a "hey, these are interesting people who speak English" place. But as Rich said, sometimes people have luck and there is some chemistry. The forum has been good to people like DB and MN.

Sada you have never been, and likely never will, to a Zurich drinks night, or any night involving real people from this forum.

I was more referring to your frequent comments in the threads of EF meets etc, which sometimes seem a bit out of place considering you have never actually met any of us. I'm not interested in your personal life, trust me.

I've posted such a hearfelt lovely post RD, about how well you guys up there take care of the girls, the new one's looking for amusements and all ... I almost felt jealous so ... just take the compliment and get out of my way will ya. I do what I want when I want with whom I want, as always. Besides, I don't have to answer to anyone on here.

I spent about 20 seconds trying to figure out what a professional American is like, then I realized they'd stay in America except if they are in the military.
