Re: Champions League final

I am doing an overnight train, I catch it at Olten on Tuesday night arrives Rome Wednesday 9.30am, same in return Thursday night. Some friends are going via Geneva but their Journey is a nightmare by train via Brig then Milan. Hotels in Rome are proving difficult to find also.

Overnighter very expensive though 270CHF with a Swiss Pass.

1730hrs arrival in Rome?
Beware of Italian Air Traffic Control.
They'll be having their busiest day for many years...

You should be OK - my brother is night-stopping from Manchester and then on the 1st ZRH-FCO flight on Match Day.

Here he is on the front page of the Manchester Evening News after Everton away in 1988:

Say hello if you see him.

Lime St was a bit tricky that day, as was Victoria which is where I think the pic was taken, don't recognise your kid but the bloke with the perry flick thing going on looks familiar (in a hazy 80's football memory kind of way)
