Re: ZH/AG - Rain is coming!

It was hailstones attacking the slanted glass windows (yikes!) here 20 minutes ago in Cham; now it's just raining hard and thundering.

And quite dark, too. Armageddon, anyone?

Dog was poking her head out to look at the funny hailstones hitting the balcony floor. Now she's fast asleep; the thunder doesn't seem to faze her. Brave girl.

Re: ZH/AG - Rain is coming!

And then it was gone...

I think it's passing over now. Well its down to a mild rumble and the odd flash of lightening. People outside my office seem to be braving making a dash for it now, so the real beefy hailstone seems to have gone.

Regularly scheduled tennis training will be done in wet red clay at 18h00 First rain drops here in Turgi

Are you teaching folk how to swim in murky orange water, Jacek?

P.S. Not so much thunder now, just a steady tip-tap-tap of rain. Balcony has a thin layer of polystyrene hail. CH gets my vote for both summer and winter weather within half a day.

I guess we will have to make a raincheck to the plans for afternoon tennis as there are more thunders sounding from far away. Always have illusion that after few hours of rain the lovely weather from past few days will be back

I still wonder if it would be crazy idea to cycle back home after 17h00... surely will not get any vote for that from my bh

Looks like it's clearing up behind us so I'd say you're a go on the bike.

PS I'm in Wettingen at the mo, so I'm pretty close by.
