| | | Leggings in Zurich (clothing)
Can anyone of you fashion-savvy ladies suggest places where I could find a pair of those leggings (come in different colours, either ankle length or stop just below the knee)?
Tried H&M, Zara, Manor and Jelmoli to no avail. It could be that I was looking in the wrong place and that, together with a crippling lack of patience when it comes to clothes shopping, meant I probably missed them.
Found some in the Jelmoli sports section but I don't really want them shiny black with a Nike tick on the bottom of them and look a bit too sporty for the tops with which I would wear them.

Yendl, Clockhouse (C&A) and Chicorree should have them.

(Are you sure you want that look, Ms Grounder?) | | | | | Thanks. Yep, should be okay - the wafty, flouncy top covers a multitude of things that shouldn't be there. |

Although I'm not in Zürich, I've noticed that often different shops for the same store will have slightly different inventory so if you have more than one C&A, Chicorree or H&M that are within a reasonable shopping area for you, it may be worth your while to visit them all.
Meanwhile, my mum-in-law does a lot of catalog shopping and buys a good bit of her stuff from bonprix (they have website www.bonprix.ch) and after having ordered a thing or two from them myself, it seems an ok option.
I happen to be a "touchy-feely" person and prefer to check the feel of fabrics but I've found that catalog to be a pretty good option for picking up hard-to-find items.
Meanwhile... I believe they do have leggings available currently. | | This user would like to thank Peg A for this useful post:

H&M does have them, but they are often hiding in the "junior" or more sporty section of the store. Also try American Apparel--they have quite a lot in various colors, are super-comfy and quite cheap.

Try H&M Limmatquai... they seem to have more legwear than the other downtown branches.

I popped into the H&Ms on Bahnhofstrasse yesterday looking for a belt, and only saw black and white leggings, with sizes suitable for a 15 year old.
Globus has a wide selection though! Good luck.

Leggins are like .. (what are Rüebli-Hosen called in English please? carrot-shaped jeans?).. they make your ass look big and your legs look short. You may have a really good shape but it still doesn't flatter you. What about a miniskirt Sandgrounder and meeting up for a coffee ? |

Be careful the beige doesn't look too much like your skin colour. Or else, from afar, you'll look bottom nude. | | This user would like to thank argus for this useful post:

Apparently, leggings are selling better than ever during this recession: http://www.millionlooks.com/tag/leggings/
If I had legs like those, I'd be wearing them under a blouson too 'coz they feel so comfy and light.
