great idea the library, may I make a suggestion? can I contribute only hard copies or music files too (MP3, MP4 et al.)? - 'cos i have about 19 thousand songs (no kidding ) on the hard drive that I'd be happy to share (remains of a similar experiment with a bunch of friends somewhere else) - unless of course is illegal - wouldn't dream of doing anything illegal now, would I? | | | | |
See the rules, only originals, no downloads, copies or rips

Hi
Would you be interested in all the audio cassette tapes for the EF library at all? Plus I've got quite a few books I can give you also if you'd like them to add to your stock.
Cheers
Cath

Another 400 books will be added to the list in the next few days, with huge thanks to swisscath who donated them all, so please keep an eye on the list. These include lots of adult fiction, a fair amount of childrens fiction and about 50 non fiction books. Many of these books are brand new as well as the second hand ones, so if you are interested in any of them please let us know.
We are still taking in any donations for the library. Just to remind you, we also accept games, dvd's, cd's and videos and we now have an international section with some foreign language books.
Thanks

We have had an offer of a donation come in, but it is in Lugano. Is there anybody who is venturing that way and could pick it up for us and bring it back nearer to Zurich? This would be a big help to us.
Thanks

A quick bump for the library
Clear out your cupboards of those unread books, unplayed games, unwatched films and exchange them for somthing you will read / play / watch
See the link for the stock list on the first post, we have over 1000 items in the library now |

Hi Big Blue
Could you PM me the library location please, I have a box of CDs in the cellar collecting dust as I'm all digital now and have no use for them really, I think I could get together some books and DVDs too...
Do I need to catalogue them or will that be covered by the library?
cheers

Would people be interested if we added electronic devices to the library, just going through my draws at the weekend and we have various mobile phones, an LCD tv, lcd pc monitor, a couple of satnav's, dvd player, various mp3/4 players, ps2, ps1 etc etc just sitting around doing nothing (I'm a gadget freak)
anyway for library members same deal, borrow them but with a fixed time and sorry a returnable deposit,
for non members a small weekly charge and deposit
what do people think?
