Re: The EF Library is Open!

Hi biglue2

Firstly, great idea and huge credit for your efforts.

Is there any progress with local branches? I have books, CDs and games that I'll happily donate. Would be great to have easier access to something in the Basel area though.

Cheers

Hmmm, I don't think you need me and my organisational skills within a thousand yards of this! I'm very willing to help though if there are more able bodied Basler volunteers? Hands-up anyone???

Re: The EF Library is Open!

Hi BigBlue2,

I will be leaving Switzerland in a few weeks and I have a few boxes of books. Problem is, some of them are my text books from a Masters in Psychology course. Would you have any need/use for these?

I also have some adult fiction that i can donate.

I live in Lausanne so wonder what would be the easiest and least expensive way to get these to you?

Thanks in advance.

K

Re: The EF Library is Open!

I've only just skimmed this thread, but it would be great (especially as on another thread someone in Basel's just stated they have books to get rid of to a good cause!) if there was a library of sorts in Basel.

I could probably keep a pile of books in my place, or a load of books in my storage cupboard thing in the attic. Not sure if that means I have to make myself available on demand, though. I wouldn't be intersted in that ;)

I'm amazed that after 4 days the offer of free porn hasn't gotten more of a response from the forum. Maybe you've had a bucket load of PMs or possibly there aren't as many w*****s as I thought?

(Or it's the stuff without pictures in which case I understand perfectly....)

Hey Great Idea, I could help in Basel. I'm new to this "EF library" concept but could help to set it up here in Basel. PM me.
