It is possible to reach by public transport, although as has been said earlier in the thread, the library is in the process of being moved from Zurich to Glarus, and all of the books are packed up in boxes at the moment. If there are certain books that you are interested in let me know and I'll dig them out and can bring them back to Zurich for the next 3 weeks, after that I would have to make further arrangements to get books back to the Zurich area.

95 Magazines (Martha Stewart Living & donna hay magazines), 3 international, 30 fiction and 170 non fiction books added with thanks to duckduck.

As a note, all new books added to the lists are added at the bottom of the lists, with a 2 row gap between the preceeding ones.

Please note, due to our impending move we are not accepting any donations at the moment, which is also due to a lack of storage space. The library is still open though.

Just checking on whether the EF library is back up and running (i.e., accepting donations)?

Likewise, wondering if the library is open for donations now. And if so, is there a possibility to meet in ZH to hand over a bag of things? Or do we need to post to Glarus?

The Library is back up and running

We find ourselves with too many books, so for a limited time you can join the book part of the library for free, and take out upto 3 books at a time, to qualify you must have been a member on here for over 1 month and have 10 'proper' posts, so don't go spamming away just to join up (like those muppets wanting to post for sale ad's)

I searched for this thread today morning, and was delighted to know that I could read English books and the library wasn't too far. BUT then i read through and found that it has moved to Glarus
I know you can get the books to Otelfingen but I now feel bad that you have to go through so much hassle!

I have around 100 dvds I would like to donate. They are mostly television series and Region 1. Please send me your contact details, so I can get in touch.

I am sorry if I missed this already mentioned, but is there a new address for the library, or is the move still in progress? I would love to get my hands on some English books and have a few to contribute as well!

The move is now finished and the library is open again. We are now based in Glarus. Please pm for more info and and other details.

122 dvd's added to the list, almost all tv series box sets and region 1 (ntsc, USA & Canada), with thanks to GP3.

20 cd's, 12 non fiction books and 1 fiction book added, with thanks to SPB.
