Euromillions Jackpot

It's over 151 million Swiss francs. You can even play it from the comfort of your present bum-holder.

Please feel free to participate so that my winnings are higher

Thanks

Re: Euromillions Jackpot

Maybe with the bout of bad luck I had last month, this time I'll be lucky and win something? nahh, I doubt it.

In the spirit of not wanting to mess up my life, I'm not playing because I have no use for so much "free money".

Well then, win it and distribute it equally among EF.

Free money can often be quite expensive.

You cannot just register and play online with Swisslos you have to prove your age, before you can play. Also remember that the winnings are taxed.

Re: Euromillions Jackpot

I've been mentally playing the same numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) on the National Lottery for the last 15 years. Not only have my numbers never come up, but I've saved over £780 (CHF1317.80) in fools tax by not actually playing.

Bonza!

Re: Euromillions Jackpot

Something to get you down, here's a Simulator that plays the same numbers twice a week for ten years, see how much you could have won.

I see at least some players on the website must have won big as the winning are greater than the takings (for now...)

Just buy the ticket in France, there it's tax free.

To be honest, if I won 130 mill CHF, being taxed on the winnings would not really be top of my list of concerns...

Yeah, but it's a bugger when the amount is smaller. They can't pay out at the kiosk any winning greater than CHF 50. So I had to send off to Loterie Romande to collect my huge windfall of CHF 52.10. And how much did I get after tax? CHF 33.85! And I paid CHF 5 for registered post! I do get a nice letter saying that Loterie Romande gives CHF 434,000 a day to more than 2,000 cultural, social and aid institutions. That makes me feel much better.

Re: Euromillions Jackpot

I think one of the worst stories I heard about euromillions was a group of italian workers in a company who played regulartly together the same combination. It happened that once their combination came out in the draw....they were all happy and crazy until they found that the colleague who was in charge forgot to play that very same week!!!
