Language courses and US student loan deferment

Hey all,
I am planning to take German and/or French courses starting in January. I am currently in repayment of my US university student loans (go Warriors!) and according to my loan provider, if I am enrolled in what is considered to be full or half time study, I can defer my student loans. Has anybody had experience with this or know about which, if any, language schools in Zurich can provide the necessary paperwork to put a US student loan into deferment? Would love to kill 2 birds here...thanks in advance.

When I did the paperwork to defer my student loans, I just had to send an enrollment confirmation with expected date of graduation. I was studying at a recognized school of higher education, in a degree program, so it wasn't a problem. I'm not sure if your language courses apply.

Depends on who has your loan. I did it 9 years ago while my student loan was with Sallie Mae. Ask for a deferment application from your loan provider.

Thanks for the responses. My loan is with Great Lakes which is very similar to Salli Mae with regards to student loan deferment policy. I will see what they say.
