What happened to Winter? Sunday night it was -12c chez nous. This afternoon it's +7c. That's nearly a +20c temperature shift in just over 24 hours. Must be all that hot air coming out of Copenhagen!

There was a beautiful snow storm last night. 20 car accidents in Zuerich alone. Ground is covered with 20cm of snow where I am. Looks likes it will be a White Christmas, if it doesn't melt before Thursday.

Considering that the weather forecast is for 11C over the next few days in Zurich, I wouldn't count on a white Christmas quite yet.
It's a shame -- the snow was lovely when it came down a day or two ago, but it'll all be gone in a day or two.

Actually, after last nights snow storm and - 15 or so temps over the weekend it is milder today but the strong winds make it feel much colder.

The winter went to the Netherlands where is paralyzes daily life and gives people an excuse to stay at home or arrive late everywhere

We heard the screams of the witnesses and maybe a thump (we were approaching the tram stop to catch the next tram so we didn't actually see anything). It was - 16 Sunday morning here. The snow is pretty, and I won't mind it if we get more on Friday for Christmas, or even the following days. But - 16 is cold!
