Snowing all the way down to about 500m here and looks set for the day. If the temperature drops, it should make for a good ski Easter weekend up here.

Lots of spring snow in Fribourg, will probably melt pretty fast though.

well... welcome to Switzerland. I think it was in 2005 when we had snow (at around 700m) in early May, and we also had snow in September once. So, in the end you're left with only 3 guaranteed snow free months.....

It is typical weather for April a bit of summer and a bit of winter. When I was cycling to work this morning the temps were around 5 deg C with very frosty wind blowing into my face.

It's Switzerland. Learn the local saying, "April April, macht was er will".

snow in early april, not-so-good easter w/end, 3 days of scorching heat, last w/end so-and-so and today it looks like november...
