Where can I find an American country music bar on the French side of Switzerland?
PLEASE- I must find a country style bar- that has some sort of country music playing! I'm not into dancing...but a place to relax, drink and get away from my life here-at least for a night! Any suggestions--pretty much any location where a train goes is fine-(I'm located near Sion...) thanks!!!

Maybe you'll be interested in this bluegrass festival in Willisau? They attract some good performers and the atmosphere is very casual.

It is a nice venue but don't go expecting an American style bluegrass festival. Music and location is great but the majority of the attendees are a bit uptight.

March 20th in Engelberg there is a Johnny Cash cover band playing at Yucatan (www.yucatan.ch). Don't know the band but the venue is good.

Wouldn't have imagined a Bluegrass festival in CH - very cool.
