Good luck on your level 1. For a few years, I worked for an equity research firm. I don't know one person who failed the Level 1, so if you are studiously preparing, I'm sure you will do well.

There are also online classes - rather pricey, but if your employer will pay, and you can get the time, that might be worth a look.

Good luck finding a study mate.

Our son is based in Zurich. He will finish his Bachelor's in Engineering in July/August and he is quite serious about doing the CFA Level 1 in December.

My wife passed level 1 June 2010, and planning to go for level 2. Let me know if there are any study partners.

For level 1 students I will talk to her, maybe she can offer help if possible.

I am also planning for CFA level 1 for December 2010.Please PM me who are preparing for the same goal.
